A little about me…

My career path has been a long and winding road! Graduating from the University of Miami with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, I thought I knew exactly what I was going to do in life…

From owning and operating my own restaurant, to getting my MBA, to working as an analyst for a hedge fund, I finally found my true passion during nearly a decade at Whole Foods Market. Working for corporate Human Resources gave me the opportunity to handle sensitive personal issues in order to help people solve problems…something I found to be truly fulfilling!

Meanwhile, motivated by the brilliance of my wife, the wisdom of her mother, and the harsh reality of chronic disease portrayed by many documentaries, books, and podcasts, I began down the path of lifestyle medicine…and evidence-based nutrition.

After becoming a certified health coach, I decided to really “do my research” and back to school to pursue a Master’s in Nutrition, and ultimately to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Now the goal is to educate, inspire, and ultimately to get involved in food and environmental policy to help build a brighter and healthier future for us and our planet!
